Hey Judy,

So, in a male fetal pig the penis is internal.

The fetal pig heart has two shortcuts - the foreman ovale (hole between right and left atrium) and ductus arteriosis (hole between pulmonary artery and aorta).  These serve as shortcuts so that some blood can bypass the lungs, which are not used in a fetus, and go out to the body more quickly.  These shortcuts close shortly after birth.

Fetal skull....hmmm...more soft?  Not as hard/thick?  I think that's what we were getting at.
